Siggy Flicker Appointed to U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Council by President Donald J. Trump

Congratulations to Siggy Flicker on her recent appointment to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Council by President Donald J. Trump.

Flicker shared her gratitude in a May 5 Instagram post, writing:

“President Trump… Thank you for the privilege [and] honor to represent and NEVER FORGET.”

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., serves as the nation’s official memorial to the Holocaust. Its mission includes combating antisemitism and promoting human dignity through exhibitions, leadership programs, educational outreach, and annual Holocaust commemorations.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Council—established by Congress in 1980—oversees the museum and is composed of 55 members appointed by the president. It also includes five members each from the Senate and House, as well as ex-officio representatives from the Departments of Education, Interior, and State.

Flicker is one of five new appointees announced by President Trump, replacing individuals previously appointed by President Joe Biden. These appointments were finalized on April 29.

“They are all strong supporters of Israel, and will ensure we NEVER FORGET. Congratulations to all!”
President Donald J. Trump
