Broward Leadership Embarks on Emotional Solidarity Mission in Israel

Members of Broward’s leadership embarked on a powerful and emotional solidarity mission in Israel. The day began with a visit to the Gaza Envelope, where the group bore witness to the heartbreaking realities on the ground. They heard firsthand testimonies from survivors at the Nahal Oz overlook, Nir Oz Kibbutz, the Nova site, and the area where abandoned cars stand as haunting reminders of tragedy.

This difficult yet crucial experience allowed the group not only to see but to validate these stories, ensuring they are never forgotten. A meaningful highlight of the day was visiting our Federation’s partners at the Hevel Eshkol’s local community center, where resilience and hope continue to shine through.
