Surfside, FL — The Sephardic Center invites the entire community to join for a spirited and enriching Thursday Night Mishmar — a weekly gathering designed to uplift the soul with Torah learning, meaningful prayer, and the signature warmth of community connection. Held at 9524 Abbott Ave, Surfside, this Thursday evening promises to be a highlight of the week for participants of all ages, offering a dynamic schedule of programs and refreshments that nourish both body and spirit. The evening kicks off with a Teen Program at 7:00 PM, providing an engaging space for younger members of the community to connect through Torah learning and camaraderie. This is followed by Mincha/Arvit at 7:30 PM, uniting attendees in heartfelt prayer. At 8:00 PM, two learning opportunities will take place simultaneously: a shiur (class) delivered by Rabbi Massri, and the Night Kollel, offering a deeper dive into Torah study for those seeking advanced learning. The night concludes with a second Arvit at 9:00 PM. Adding to the ruach (spirit) of the evening is the beloved culinary tradition: Daniel Amram’s legendary cholent, accompanied by drinks — a much-anticipated treat that brings the community together in delicious celebration. All are encouraged to attend and experience the Torah, the energy, and the authentic Sephardic warmth that make Thursday nights at The Sephardic Center so special. Don’t miss it — the Torah, the vibes, and of course, the cholent await.
