Crews Battle South Miami-Dade Grass Fire Now 90% Contained

Crews continued battling a grass fire in South Miami-Dade on Monday, which has been burning for several days. The fire, which started on Wednesday near Southwest 344th Street and 117th Avenue, has scorched at least 1,000 acres, according to officials. Firefighters have been using water from a nearby canal to douse the flames. Forestry officials reported that the fire is now 90% contained.
