Miami Beach JCC to Host Yom Hazikaron & Yom Ha’atzmaut Commemoration with Israeli Art Exhibition

In honor of Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha’atzmaut, the Miami Beach JCC Schwartz-Jacobs Family Gallery will host a special evening featuring the opening of a powerful new exhibition titled “My Home Is My Fortress.”

The exhibit, opening Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 6:30 PM, showcases works by over 50 Israeli artists, exploring themes of identity, resilience, and national pride. Curated by Doron Polak and presented in collaboration with Ben Ami Gallery Tel Aviv, the exhibit runs under the auspices of the Israeli Consul General, Mr. Maor Elbaz.

The evening will also include a community gathering marking Israel’s Memorial and Independence Days.
