Officials respond to reports of chemical leak, 6 people hospitalized

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Several people were hospitalized after a possible chemical spill in Miami-Dade County.

It happened Wednesday afternoon along northwest 107th Avenue.

Authorities said six people were rushed to the hospital as a result of the incident.

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, crews responded to reports of a hazardous situation possibly involving a chemical leak.

Crews were working diligently to contain the leak and determine the case.
