Rep. Randy Fine Makes Bold Statement on Antisemitism at House Hearing by wearing his yarmulke

Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL), one of the few Jewish members of Congress, delivered a powerful gesture during a recent House hearing on antisemitism by wearing his yarmulke in solidarity with Jewish students nationwide.

Although Fine noted he typically does not wear his yarmulke in public, he made an exception at the hearing to honor Jewish students on college campuses who feel unsafe openly expressing their identity.

“That may change,” Fine remarked, “in honor of all the students at these campuses who don’t feel safe to wear it themselves.”

His action underscored the growing concerns over antisemitism and the importance of standing with young people facing discrimination for their religious symbols.
