Women’s Spa for the Soul

A pair of hostages kidnapped by Hamas militants in Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023, were the featured speakers Sunday at Palm Beach Synagogue’s annual “Spa for the Soul” women’s luncheon.

Sasha Troufanov, who was held captive for 16 months before being freed in February, along with his girlfriend, Sapir Cohen, who was released in November 2023, will share their experiences at an event taking place at the Belgrove Resort & Spa in West Palm Beach.

Both were kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz in southern Israel along with Troufanov’s mother and grandmother, who were released with Cohen. Troufanov’s father was killed in the attack.

“Spa for the Soul” is an annual women’s luncheon event featuring motivational speakers who focus on inspiration, celebration and unity.

The event included a cappuccino and raw juice bar, a gourmet lunch, and boutiques.
