Mitzvahs & Matzahs: FAU Gathers Jewish Community for a Meaningful Pre-Passover Celebration

Ahead of Passover, the Florida Atlantic University community came together for a heartfelt and inspiring evening of Mitzvahs & Matzahs at the Baldwin House.

Hosted in the spirit of reflection and unity, the event welcomed members of the Jewish community from across FAU to honor the themes of freedom, resilience, and remembrance that lie at the heart of the holiday.

Guests joined in meaningful conversation, shared traditions, and reflected on our shared history—as well as the shared responsibility we all carry to stand against hate and build a future rooted in understanding, dignity, and peace.
